i found this post that someone made do you think this is true or false this is what they said about tattoos >Skin is an imperfect canavs with pores and other variations. Tattoo artists have to orchestrate a rapidly moving machine with both their body’s motion and yours. If you move unexpectedly, dots can be made outside of the intended lines. There is no way to ensure that every molecule of ink applied will stay put flawlessly, which means small spots can seem missing or lightly colored.
If you are looking at your tattoo from inches away, you are looking too closely at it and will see the normal, tiny imperfections that even the best tattoos will have. If you have it up a hand’s width from your face, that is much closer than anyone else will be looking at it.
If you hold your tattoo at a normal viewing distance, like you would to just show it to someone else, it should look perfect. From a couple of feet, you should get the impression of a flawless piece of art. If you can see the problems you’re talking about from here, its time to visit your artist or another one you trust.< SO IS IT POSSIBLE EVEN THE MOST SKILLED ARTIST MAKES IMPERFECTIONS. EVERYONE WANTS A PERFECT TATTOO WHAT YOUR TAKE ON THIS:confused:
Nothing in life is perfect and that’s the beauty of it!
Ive seen a shit ton of tattoos that are seemingly flawless
I completely agree, I feel like so many people are very picky when it comes to tattoos that they consider perfect or really good. Id appreciate everyones tattoos being perfect (perfect linework for example) but thats in a perfect world. People have to remember that they are humans not machines..tattooists cannot be perfect 100% of the time. Now Im not saying I would appreciate a huge mistake such as a spelling error, but if a tiny spec of ink was out of place? personally I think it adds a bit of character and Im not going to stress myself over it, but hey I only have two tattoos so what do I know haha
Just get tattoos you love by the best person you can find. The rest is for the birds.
Whether it be your buddy down the street thats been a scab merchant for twenty years,
or the the guy with the 2 year waiting list that’s been tattooing for 6.
Its all relative.
i understand where you guys stand me thinking that growing up tattoos are allways perfect but no i figured out its not. you skin expands as you get fat or skinny you get bump and scratches. still a good thought to think about
Once you have a tattoo, and hopefully it’s a good one, you must start your aftercare to keep it nice.
1) Moisturizer 2) sunblock
Keep it moist and out of the sun’s UV rays for the rest of your life.
(staying away from “text” and “tribal” tattoos is a start toward perfection)
perfection is subjective. its not like we strive for imperfection but each has their own definition of what perfection is.
good answer argedion it true. tattoos are not perfect one could say from a distance but up close there may be little things wrong with it. thanks for your opinion 😀
Tattoos might look perfect/flawless on pictures, but remember – the artists take those straight after they are done.
The healing period is real killer for all.

With the exception of a few assholes I know. (but they probably have hemorrhoids)
Just as you’re limited by flat canvas, paper, linen, sculpture, all forms of art are “imperfect” in some aspect, I suppose. Nothing can look totally 3D on a flat surface and truly perfect lines are pretty much impossible. There’s only bad art, okay art, good art, and great art, and outside of things like lines, clarity, form, symmetry, and structure, I guess no art is inherently perfect.
But I am proud to say I have some original art by one of the best up and coming artists in the state of TN.
As I see it, a perfect tattoo is a pretty easy thing to do.
If a tattoo is exactly the way you wanted it and exactly the way you imagined it, it’s perfect TO YOU. You can then live your entire life enjoying your perfect tattoo, regardless of how poor it may appear to others.
If you want to get into the philosophical side of things, however, perfection is perfectly impossible. NOTHING is absolutely perfect, since perfection is subjective and based not only on people’s personalities and upbringing, but their mood at any given time as well.
