I’ve had an artist offer to use a little bactine (wiped on, NOT SPRAYED) at about the 6 hour mark. It helped A LOT, but it has to be re-applied about every 20 minutes. Can only be used after all the skin is already “broken”. He diluted it in water and wiped it on.
thats because its i believe 3% lidocaine? vasocaine is usually 5 or 6% lidocaine but it still like to have a plan b.
If you must take a drug take cyanide. No pain again ever
No matter how you want to justify it to yourself man, it’s cheating plain and simple, the pain is all a part of the tradition and process of getting a tattoo. Do what you want its your body, but most tattoo artists won’t tattoo you while you’re on something like that.
the tattoo artist was informed of my decision. he trusts me to do my reserach find what possible side affects are that can affect me as well as sweilling and bleeding. thats what im doing, im looking at my options and doing my research.
Another trick is to bring along a board, hammer and nails. Everytime the pain starts getting to you, you smash a nail through one of your bollocks into the board. rinse and repeat 🙂
if i go that route id rather just start debeading
I love me some Vicodin….
Anyone have some?
is this thread still going?
Jesus christ, man up motherfucker!
All pain pills do is make me want to work on stuff. Or clean. I hate it.

inject yourself with bleach, i heard that the best pain killer. Honest.
This is painful
and this is not very nice but even more painful.
Tattoos do not hurt!.
I could easily sit there all day and get my skin pricked with needles over and over again. I’m a girl with plenty of work and have NEVER taken any sort of pain medications when I go to get tattooed. Afterwards is another story but even then I rarely need that. Like others have said, Man up and do it clean.
