Two questions:
1. I would like a tattoo that pays homage to the journalist Edward R. Murrow. The only thing I can think of short of getting a big tattoo of the dude’s face, is to have a quote by him. Only I’ve personally never really been a fan of just plain text as a tattoo. Is there anything else I can do?
2. How would this look as a tattoo? Perhaps simplified a little. I’m thinking on my chest, to the left (to the right if you were looking at me). How can it be changed to better suit a tattoo?
If you like that tattoo it could be done very nicely, i think it would look nice on your top right bicep. Personally im not a massive fan of the tattoo but if you like it you should get it how it is if that is something to do with that journalist.
– top right bicep
– forearm
– calf
How about a smaller tattoo of the 29 cent Murrows stamp?
Thank you for not wanting a crappy text tattoo. This is a tough one but what about some journalism symbols?
Edward R. Murrow! What a great subject.
Butt’s got some good ideas.
Be sure to add a cigarette. He smoked thousands of them.
Good night and good luck.
Buttwheat has some good suggestions…but why not consider a portrait type tattoo?
Random images I found with a quick google search
all the ideas I see here are great ones.
I think we forget with portrait tattoos that we’re not limited to photo realism. I sort of had the same error in thinking for a long time. You have many, many options within portrait.
