Well, damn. If I wasn’t working 16’s now, I’d be tempted to come see it in person. Can’t wait for the pics.

16s?? As in 16 hour days? Dayum girl!! I thought my 12.5s were long, but now I guess I’m just a wuss. Standing ovation for GCL!
So here I am…literally like a kid on Christmas eve. Stuck in a hotel room with the wife and kid. Wide ass awake. Can’t go back to sleep…..can’t turn on the TV….but I am 100% completely ready. All my aftercare stuff is here already.
I would like to take this time to thank you guys for all the help and support. I would probably never have decided to go out of my tattoo “comfort zone” to seek out really great artists without the gentle nudges by forum members here who all truly just want to see everyone walking around with work class art.
So for that I am greatful.
I really never understood how average all my previous work was before starting my cthulhu 3/4 sleeve. Its always kind of hard to hear someone talk negatively about something you’ve invested a lot of money and time into. But again, without the harsh criticism on the muddy shading….I would not be laying in a hotel room 5 hours from home waiting to go to an appointment with an artist who’s work makes me curse inside my head at how freakin good it is. I figure since there’s not a single piece this guy has done that I don’t like …. I might have made a great choice.
Not trying to get all mushy or anything…lol.
Just really wanted to thank the forum for being honest.
OK enough rambling. Must sleep and charge my phone so I can take mass pictures tomorrow.
I’ll probably start a new thread for the good stuff.
P.s. in the unlikely scenario that I don’t walk away with a couple badass examples of quality artwork I will hide in my shell….never to be heard from again. Lmao.

You’re welcome I’m glad you “got it” instead of getting defensive and run away. Good luck
Man this place is nice.
