hi guys
My twin brother is a painter. IVAN ALIFAN – Artist, Oil Painter He wants to add tattoo’s on Canvas. I don’t really know how it’s going to work or how to preserve pig skin.
He isn’t going to become tattoo artist or anything, he just wants to add something different to his paintings. I went on ebay and i got him cheapest kit which was 25$, thinking he might not even like it.
Both of us don’t know anyone who is in to tattooing ,it’s all experimental.
I just want to ask one question too professional artists here.
The ink won’t stay in the pig skin, the power machine is cheap i know but it punches deep inside using 3RL no problem but 9M1 barely leaving a mark .
The problem might be in the equipment, if so what’s the cheapest way to improve this set up.
This is our 1st try at tattooing, pic down below. using 3RL, comes off way to easy
any help and criticism will be appreciated
Sorry, but discussions regarding tattooing procedures are expressly forbidden in this forum.
At least it wasn’t human skin!
In before the lock.
Tattooing on pig skin and human beings are two very very different things.
I suggest your brother reaches out to a studio. As long as he can prove his intentions are good, if he gets to know an artist a bit and makes it very clear he has no intention of tattooing real people, they might help you out.
I know someone who tattooed a chair once, and I know he got help.
There are hardly any tattoo artists on this forum, so I doubt you’ll get much help. But seek out a friendly artist, and if they believe you, they might be willing to help 🙂
Maybe the best thing to do would be to go to his local tattoo shop and explain his conundrum. Looking for new techniques in painting is a noble endeavor, and artists enjoy opportunities to interact. 🙂 Also, it doesn’t break the rules.
