Since watching one of those trashy tattoo shows on TV, I’ve always wanted my inner thighs tattooed. I have have some stretch marks from puberty. I’m not particularly a big girl as a US size 4/UK size 6, but I’m not very tiny and they’re the largest part of of my body. I was looking for some ideas on subject matter and the aesthetics of this. I know stretch marks can be beautifully covered, but I don’t want this to look trashy or unappealing. I’d obviously be doing this to quell my own insecurities with intimacy. Please advise.
Go for it. A nice floral tattoo I think would be as sexy as hell.
Any suggestions on florals? I have clematis, roses, and cherry blossoms. Should I go for a repeat or does anyone have any outstanding ideas? I love the delicacy of bluebell and flowers like that, but I am open to all suggestions. Just feeling the old tattoo itch since I haven’t had one in a few months. Also considering a back piece based on the Soviet Union cartoon “The Cat and the Tree,” with a little cat that resembles mine. I’m just bored with my body. 😉
Flowers on a woman is always a good thing. No “pollentaion” jokes.
Sunflowers?
Orchids maybe? Been quite fond of the Blue Orchids lately myself 🙂

I love the Greek mythology behind the orchid. That is a perfect suggestion. I just hate repeats or flower that overwhelm a woman’s frame, so that is perfect.
I’ve Always thought that chrysanthemums make great tattoos. I have this big almanac with a few hundred different species all with pictures.
Also a fine suggestion.
I think on the inner thigh I would stay away from orchids or other flowers that have a vaginal look to them as they will be near yours. You don’t want them competing with your utty, maybe flowers more like daisy type flowers to complement it not compete against it.
Daisy, daisy, give me your answer, do.
I’ll likely let Ryan pick something, but I love the colorful flowers of the Black Forest and the deep colors.
I found that book. Its called “glorious flowers” laura peroni. Illustrated by marilena Pistoia.
I flipped thru it. It has a lot of painted examples of flowers as well origins and stories of how they got their names.
Here are a few that I think are striking.
Dahlia
Sunflower
Lotus
Water lily
Asphodel
Chrysanthemums
Sorry for the bad photos. The paper is glossy so I had to turn the overhead light off and no flash.
Anyways enjoy!
Wow this is actually a flower lol I thought it was photoshopped!
That would be a perfect place for that kind of water color!
