I am thinking of a skull & flower piece,
I like lotus & lily,
also are hibiscus & plumeria too feminine ?
I am thinking of something like this style,
does it look ok with the flower/s color & skull B&G ?
or all B&G ?
or all color ?
I am not sure where yet, maybe thigh or right ribcage
here is a sample
I ps’ed the one skull to B&G
&
The color / B&G here looks nice. Hibiscus is one of my top flowers. I have a small blue one on my ankle and a big passion flower on my calf.
I love the look of a mostly b&g tattoo with colour elements, when it is done right and doesn’t look unfinished. Especially with pink, like cherry blossom petals. Skulls with flowers make great tattoos.
With all the time that you spend in Hawaii the hibiscus seems appropriate, but I would give the artist your top 3 picks and see what they come up with.
Go for it.
Nothing wrong with pink 🙂
Think it looks very nice when done right 🙂
i like the idea and the first one. i also seen i think it was either gogue or yen who did a skull with a flower on one eye and i thought it looked pretty cool. also maybe since you do like hawaii having a hawaiian ginger flower coming out of an eye? what artist do you have in mind?
I love b and g skulls with color roses, this could be a nice variation.

if I get it done on Maui in May it will be either Rachel or Samantha here Maui Tattoo Company, Hawaii , and if I get it done in California , I am open for suggestions.

Phil Garcia in Oxnard,Ca ? (port hueneme)
Check out Mr Dist! A swedish artists, but he does a lot of flower/skull combinations, often with the skull in b&g, and the flower in color.
He does beautiful work. Might bring some inspiration!
And I think the combination looks great!
