    Hey guys, needs some help big time… im in the process of completing my half sleeve, at the moments i have my outlines done with some grey shading.
    The theme of my tattoo basically consists of, cherubs, flowers, butterflies hearts and start etc…so you get an idea.

    Im just trying to think wheat sort of background to add, i only really see tradional chinese and japanese water shading and bars as a background for sleeves.

    Any ideas on what would look good to keep within the theme, many thanks, ill try and add a link with a photo so youn guys can get a better idea.

    if your able to see my pic im having my flowers cherubs. stars flowers and birds in colour, then basically im lookining to fill all the gaps with a background.

    im booked in for monday to get it done, i just want some more ideas, thanks

    well filler work is generally very simple work. you dont want to take focus away from the main piece. probably some cloud work or some water. Wind bars behind would be kinda of confusing.

    yea i see where your coming from, the last thing i want is for it to be confusing, i want it as bold and simple as possible.

    Nice sleeve fim23! whatever u go with for the background.. ya might wanna keep it very lightly shaded so the main piece stands out well! good luck with it man

    Make it simply black or gray with swirl edges to blend with your skin maybe? Ya I’m with everyone else.. you don’t want too much going on to take away from its class. I love it by the way.
