I just moved to a new city and know that it’s always best to go and get help from the artist but I’d like to have some ideas going in. I got a trebel clef on my lower right back 3 years ago and have been itching lately to get something else done. Preferrably adding to the original artwork on my back. Not sure where to start…any thoughts?
Difficult to say without knowing what you’re into etc… you might like floral girly things or you might like skulls and shit, if you get me?? So if you can give any more info on your train of thought, that might help.
If you’re looking at adding to that design (presumably the one on your avator), perhaps you could extend the lines of the stave on the right or on both sides, if you just want to add to it a little bit perhaps you could have the lines brought out further and then spreading out in to some sort of swirly design, or perhaps have them brought out to the right into a conventional straight lined stave, and maybe have an enlarged double quaver or something overlapping the stave, and inside the heads of the notes have a tiny coloured image of your choice. Or alternatively you can leave the stave alone and perhaps have a flower of some sort put in the background to the treble clef, or introduce some vine leaves around it or something.
I don’t know, like I said it really depends what you’re into, I mean some people might have stars or butterflies flying out of it or something which I guess might look ok but really not my personal cup of tea!
In your shoes, unless there was something I specifically didn’t like about that design, I’d leave it alone and get to work on an entirely different design, new room for creativity!
