I really like the heart, skull, wing thing, it’s pretty killer. The rest are well inked, and are solid, but nothing new. So, over all my man, not bad.
Oh, for future reference, if you want to post pics from an outside website, just place the url between [/img ], subtracting the space between the final bracket in each case of course. Or, you could do it the lazy way (i.e. the way I usually use) and click the tool button that looks like a mountain and a sun on a yellow background. Paste your url into the box that pops up, and there ya go, pic is posted.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
Colour piece is very well done
yep, i agree on the colour one as well
I dig the right arm piece. I’ve kind of ruined one of those for myself with the placement of my forearm tats, but I enjoy a big intricate design down the arm.
Hi John
Sorry in the delay of replying – I have been giving your tattoos some serious thought over last few days to see if I can suggest anything to add to them.
I have some constructive criticisms (as you asked);
The tribal – well executed from what I can see (could have done with closer for linework but looks solid enough).
As it is a stand-alone piece I would suggest the following if you wanted to tinker with it.
Give the edges a fresh outline to sharpen them, then maybe add some colour to the inner gaps.
Alternatively if you wanted to keep it black and shade – add some shadowing to the edges or intersperse the gaps with some intricate line work.
Nice piece of tribal design.
Star and cobwebs
Interesting piece in UK that would suggest that you had done time in prison but I realise that tats vary from culture to culture. (I still like the tattoo and think it makes a bold piece).
To improve the tattoo I would suggest a tightening of linework on the star – looked a little wobbly. If you wanted to go colour I would suggest adding a centre piece to the star with some bold colour shading within the star to make it stand out. Perhaps a sugar skull or something that takes your fancy.
If you went black n shade I would suggest maybe some inner shading and scripted text in the centre. Alternatively maybe something such as a nautical star or zodiac symbol – basically a centre piece to the star. I would also suggest a reshade of the outer web and have it more gradient in shadows.
The stars are a bit far away to really comment but as a standard I would perhaps add a fresh outline and some colour tails or sparks to them. Maybe turn them into some shooting stars or add some flames to them. Hell a nice full dragon piece would go over that no prob! 😉
The colour tat is beautiful and to mess with that would be like white washing the sistine chapel so leave it well alone.
Nice ink and hope you don’t mind my feedback just trying to make a good tat a great one.
Take Care
Matthew
