Well both my Cousin and best friend are both military personnel. So the gas mask was designed off a real model. I’m also Italian… well my Great-grandparents were anyways, on both sides of my family, gotta love the Roman empire. The handle is actually a Greek design because the general Roman handle to the average sword is just kinda… well… a piece of wood or metal with tape, no real “handle”.
I have a real love for weapons/firearms and it just really made sense to me.
Well I think you have some pretty sweet ink done there.

PS I was wondering about the sword as at first I thought it was a Turkish sabre – but yes the gladius was a very basic weapon and the handles are tiny. i think adding more handle gives it a much better look.
