This is my first tattoo, located on my left forearm. It wraps around my forearm in a spiral. It says:
“There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.”
It is an altered quote from the Dalai Lama and I got it to remind me to me a kind person, and of my father’s wish when I was born, because I was a sick infant and he said that if I lived, he would want me to be kind.
It was done in Ithaca at Stiehl’s Body Modification Shop by artist Scott Carlton.
I love it!
