Hi this is my first post 🙂
A friend of mine has had this done, and I would love to hear your opinions.
Many thanks
Ian
Eeeew…
was it drawn by a 12 year old?
‘A friend’ eh?
Well, it’s not great, and I’m unsure what’s supposed to be between the angel/devil.
Its a friend of a friend on Facebook to be honest, i gave my opinion and it didn’t go down well, so wanted to see what others in the know thought.
i like the idea … but it looks horrible
It’s not very good. I’d say laser it.
Would laser get rid of it, or will it leave a scar that wont sun tan?
It would get rid of the ink, there might possibly be some scarring but that’s not a a very dark tattoo so I don’t think it will be that bad.
It sucks. It fact, it sucks my left nut, which, just so you know, is the bad one. Seriously, your friend is a fucking idiot, and I hope they didn’t get arm herpes on their side there from that obviously inexperienced artist.
Love. Peace. Metallica.

I asked for honest opinions, i think you sugar coated this far too much. 😉
It doesn’t look professionally done, atleast I hope it wasn’t, I would never take my shirt off for others to see, cause I’m lost for words.

I hate being rude, but honesty is honesty and this tattoo here is nothing short but atrocious. It literally looks like it’s been done with either a grey pastel, or a burnt napkin. I’ve made doodles in my notebook in highschool better than that, and transforming a doodle into a tattoo, esp at that size is head scratching. The coloring also looks like its been done on a chalkboard. Like others suggested, tell your buddy to either have it lasered or to live with certainty a hideous tattoo the rest of his life, in a bad spot to boot. Love the concept though, if taken to a professional, it would have been worth the ink.
I didnt really want to comment too much as i didnt want to sway the comments or opionsn with my opions pushing it either way. I made a comment saying can you post pics when they are finished, and had a response saying it is, so i then posted the following comment.
Also the bodies are done in with shading to give 3D appearance, but the faces aren’t which makes them look really flat so could do with some shading to make the faces curve around. And the stocking/boots are shaded to show the curve of the leg, but the thighs aren’t, so it doesn’t carry on the 3D/shading effect as for example under the arse cheeks should be shaded in as i assume the light source is coming from the centre of the angels. This is also the same as the curve of the angels backs, they have shading to make the appearance of curves, but the tails of the dresses dont have that same effect which should be continued.
I cant understand what the zig zag lines are or the marks are in the middle of those zig zag lines and will they fade in over time so it doesnt look like pencil marks?
The inner shadows you have on there are of different darkness, I think if the zig zag lines were as dark as the shadows of the inner legs, it would be much more striking.
As it is at the moment, it looks like its half finished, and needs to be made either completely cartoon 2D or completely shaded, not half of each.
Don’t take it as negative feedback, as it is meant to be constructive feedback, like what happens in my photography all the time, its the way to learn from other peoples opionions and improve.
Then earlier today i had this reply form the person who the tattoo is on
So in the artists defence i think this is the effect that the user wanted. Here are 3 other tattoos she has done on other people.
So…basically, your friend got a shitty self-designed piece done by a artist on the lower end of mediocre, and they’re too stupid to realize it?
Good to know.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
