This last section is going to be the window with the scene of desolation. The surreal parts of the skull that are floating away are going to turn into a death moth (http://www.google.com/images?client=safari&rls=en&q=death+moth&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=anuiTPHAJcOB8gbxsqGlAw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCMQsAQwAA&biw=1278&bih=630).
Above the window there will be a large stained glass window and on the sides will be some creepy photos and stuff. it sounds weird when I re-read this but it’s going to look really cool. I will keep you all updated.
The artwork is fucking fantastic! I dig it, man.
Thanks! I went in on friday to get some more done. We have the window started but it’s only halfway done so I’m going to hold off on the photos for a bit. I’m going back in a couple of weeks- hopefully we’ll be able to nail the window and some transition work to tie it all together that session. The window is off the freaking hook though, it’s going to be awesome when he finishes!
Man, can’t wait. I really love it.
Hot damn! Thanks for the great post and pictures. I can’t wait to see more.
Really cool theme, and awesome tattoo so far 🙂 My country was hit pretty bad from the plague(like a third/half the population died out), so I’ve learned a lot about it. I remember one of the old tales, they said that the plague it self, was an old woman travelling around. If she had a broom with her, everyone in the village would die. If she had a rake though, some would live.
An old norwegian folktale artist drew this picture represting her;

Just incase you wanted some plague inspiration from another part of the world ;P
its turning out really good man, i like it a lot. props to the artist, really good work

Thanks for the perspective! Honestly, the idea of the plague scares the shit out of me… I would like to travel to europe and see some of these spots first hand.
Thanks man! When do you start your 1/2 sleeve?
not sure just yet, im still looking at artists work, seen a few whos stuff i like, but they all have a slightly different style. it’ll probably happen within the next month
Fuckin BRAVO dude… BRAVO:cool:
Definitely one of the best sleeves I have ever seen. Personally, I would’ve got either the doctor or girl at the top of my arm on the outside, to display it better, but of course, it isn’t my tattoo!
Set the gears in my mind working for a sleeve…
Wow! That is gorgeous work there. I love theme, especially the doctor.
.
This was brought up when we first started. On the surface, you are right but I am a selfish person and I wanted the center piece of my tat to be a place that I could see it the most. The doc is awesome but I think when I put the photos up of what’s going on the outside of my arm your going to be blown away! It looks amazing so far…
Anyway, thanks for the kind words!
