since i got my first one this past thursday night, i’ve been becomin this tattoo enthusiast wannabe haha. been registering to a bunch of forums and i’m overall stoked about it 🙂
anyway got the balls to finally get one done.
as i found out in another forum, tattoo enthusiasts are brutally honest so fire away, i’m game for opinions/comments 🙂
this is a memorial of my late father who passed away in 94, now this tattoo is not done but majority of it is. still needs work on the outer shading and the his name/dates.
the work you see here took 4.5 hours (one sitting) and about 1.5 hours or so left to do. i’ll post the completed art once it’s finished.
anyway let me know what you guys think.
Are you getting any colour in it? It’s pretty good, 4 hours one sitting? wow lol
good job man. The scroll looks good, roses?..I think look good.
give your artist a picture 🙂
thanks 🙂
i was planning to keep it a grayscale.
might add color in the future, this piece cost me $500 all together.
maybe when i can sum up more cash.
looks good , leave it as it is 😉
Agreed! Are you going back in for another session or is this done now?
haha thanks.
no it’s not quite done yet..
still need the outer shading to make it pop as well as the name/dates.
i figured it looked good as is so that was what i was planning to do.
Although I really like deep red roses and such, that tat works awesomely in B/G.
Congrats on the ink, and welcome to the groups 🙂
Oh, and people who wear their art on the outside, should have skin thick enough to handle some verbal abuse.. yes, some of us are quite honest 🙂

thanks for the compliments.
and yes i’ve noticed that haha.
bring it onnn ;D
Really like it. I like the b/g work but a bit of color splash would help. Not much, but a little.
Who did it and where at?
Welcome to the forum.
the artist’s name is Griffen.
she’s posted on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
she’s amazing at what she does.
for the color bit, i’m going to hold off on it for awhile and get used to just having a tattoo haha.
what are your ideas about the color scheme anyway?
That is quite the tattoo bro, I’d leave it grey and black, color might really change the look of it.
that’s what i figured.
i posted more pics on one of my albums, i guess it’s easier than posting pics here on the thread.
feel free to take a look!
Wow! that looks great with b/g . For a 4 hrs job, she is really good. Congrats on your tat. And welcome to the forum.
haha, goin to finish it up tomorrow!
caaaaannot wait!
