Thinking of getting a peacock on my side, down my hip overlooking my lower back tattoo (has a story behind it) at the Seattle Expo. Does anyone know if there are pretty good artist at these things. It will be my first expo. And if a side tattoo hurts.
Thanks.
I got a tattoo on my ribs about a week and a half ago now and it didnt hurt that bad, but when he was going down a bit towards my hip that was when it really started to hurt me…
xoxox
ok. Ya cause I have one on my other hip. Cause it’s going to be on my side, stomach and down my hip.. Do you have one on your lower back by chance?
I have one on my lower back. Hurt like a bitch!
the seattle expo has a lot of great artists that can do what youre looking for. generally conventions are the way to go if youre looking for an artist because there are a lot of different styles being represented. there are usually at leadt one or two toch notch world class artists at a convention.
and the ribs are super fun. It’s like a walk on the beach on a warm summer day….
Ok, cause I have one across my lower back and wondering which one is worst. Is anyone going to the expo? I think we are getting VIP tickets. Has anyone been to the Seattle expo?
what i wouldnt do to get a tattoo from gogue…
you can say that again. He’s like 2 and a half years booked now and not taking on any new clients. Looks like the only chance is to get lucky and get him at a convention.
I will be going. I have been tattooed there the past 4 years. I have never bought a VIP ticket not sure why you would spend more money to sit in a VIP lounge (A roped off area) and drink? Alcohol is served right next to the VIP section also. I don’t they have an artist list yet the convention isn’t until August. Shit last year there was a crap load of awesome artist there. Hell I watched Paul Acker sit around all day Friday with nobody to tattoo.
Ya, this will be my first tattoo expo ever. I think the reason we were getting VIP is I guess the guys wanted to go to some before and after parties. Is there long waits usually?
Long wait for what?
No you make an appointment with the artist before hand. As soon as possible for a big name artist.
They already have some artist lined up http://www.seattletattooexpo.com/ If you go to the gallery and click on 2010 contest winners I’m the 4th picture.
