Have been checking out this site for about a year,learning what is good and bad.
I thought I had my bases covered when I found a guy I was comfortable with to refresh and add to a couple of old tattoos.
Well I failed. Not really happy with either one.
I was hoping this new guy would make the amature quality original design really pop.
Changed the original colors of the skull/flames from purple and blue to all blue.Looks too plain.
What is up with all the black?
Skull shading does not look like anything that was in the photo album of his previous work.

This one is somewhat better. The Wizard was the original and the artist added the background. Not really the storm clouds I was expecting.
I wanted my kids names added only if they flowed and were subtle.This was expressed acouple of times. If they dont fit,I will just come up with another design.
I think they overpower the whole thing.
