I found this forum after searching for answers about my latest tattoo. I’m new to this forum, so any advice would help. I currently have 3 tattoos, the latest one was done a week ago (so it’s still in the healing process). The thing is, is the “shading” (or black part) of my rose too dark? The person that did it said it would fade and lighten once it heals completely. Honestly, I think it is too dark and so far it hasn’t lightened. Any advice? Will the black shading become lighter?

yea that will lighten up a bit but it does seem a little much for that section of the rose maybe if the first inner leaves were that dark then it progressivly got lighter from the center it would look cleaner or not so harsh. but i think it looks good so far and you shouldnt be dissapointed at all and wait til it heals then go from there
