So I am an apprentice at a shop in Buffalo, New York. I’ve recently (in the past two weeks) been tattooing friends and family as practice. Here are my first seven tattoos. Be kind, I’m still learning:)

I totally agree. That “Death From Above” one is pretty rough. That was the first person I ever tattooed other than myself. I was a nervous wreck. It shows. I’m trying to get better color saturation too. I’m gaining confidence though. Each one gets easier.

I’ve seen worse work from pros tattooing for 10+ years. Good start, try working a little smaller till you get more control.

Not bad at all. Line work is a little sketchy in some spots and looks solid in others. The 5th one down looks like the black will be uneven. Keep it up – doing fine for an apprentice.
