There it is, On the side you can’t see there is a shoulder and we are adding the neck and portrait of a day of the dead girl that is holding the pumpkin, the smoke has faces in it. We are going to try some negative space with the smoke, to see how it turns out. I think it will look great. The smoke right now is just some very faint out lines, so that we can add the face / hair a little bit behind it and figure out the rest.
Then in the background, there will be the amityville house, with a couple trees with skeletons hanging from them, as well as a huge moon with an evil grin and some blue and black clouds.
That will cover / finish my half sleeve, then I just need to plan something for my elbow, and the other side of my forearm to get the complete 3/4 sleeve.
Anyways, I am pumped.
looks cool so far! who is your artist again?
My artist is a guy named Tom from Solitary Studios in Oshawa. He’s not some big artist that’s world renowned, but he’s a great artist and the service I receive when booking appointments, e-mail updates, etc, is not comparable to any other shop. He’s been tattoo’ing for 10 years now, and he has owned his own shop for 8 years now.
looks like a real good start.
You need to take better pics. looks like the camera focused on the chair behind you instead of the tattoo.
Ya I will try taking some more pictures, I’m taking them with a blackberry, so I will take a picture of it tomorrow in the sunlight, that seems to be when the blackberry can actually get a semi decent picture.
Here’s another pic of the healing process. Healing quite well, just the full black has scabs left, the rest is pretty good. Just really dry and peeling skin.
I still haven’t taken a picture outside, but tomorrow I will. You can also kinda see the outline of the woman’s arm.
I like the shading alot. Quality work.
