I agree that it still has a lot of work to go. 5.5 hrs in were expecting 12-14. It is grainy and unrefined currently. I am definitely someone who can take criticism. I know I’m not getting tattooed by a world renowned artist who is booked up for six months but I believe he does good work. Next appt. July 7th. Updates to follow.

3-snake belly scales on the underside
which way you guys think I should go?
ill be honest. The octopus option is my least favorite because I don’t want it to look like Davey Jones from that pirate movie.

Well I’ve decided to try and get it finished up next Saturday. (Told my wife I was stealing her appt. Which she scheduled right after mine) so I’m hoping for at least 6 hrs. Will be my longest session to date if everything goes according to plan.

The first round of shading has healed up nicely. I’m getting tired of waiting for the 7th.

I still would like some feedback on the tentacles.

We still have some rough shading to do. A lot of smoothing. And I were going to add color to the eyes. I’m Lovin it.

I expected a bit more feedback. Anyways. Its healing nicely. I have to get it finished on my next apt because my artist has to have surgery on his stretching hand. He’s going to be out for 3-4 months. I’m hoping another 4-5 hours and I can take a break. getting tattooed on every other paycheck gets taxing when you do 3-5 hrs each time.
