Well my half sleeve is now started now on my right arm. I did a 3 hour session today and we were able to complete the shading and the outlining. Still need to figure out what to do underneath. He thought it would be cool to do a bird skull of some sort with feathers or something like that but I’m not to sure about the idea personally. Any ideas of what to go a long with the rest of it? Anyway, here is what we’ve got going so far. I love love love it! He was actually jealous it was going on my arm and not his 😛

There will be color added and things like that. The area that is shaded on the top is actually the opening in the skulls head that the butterflies are coming out of. I figured out some ideas for what I’d like to incorporate to the inside of my arm so I’ll have to run the ideas by my artist. I’m not to wild on a bird skull to be honest hence why I spent many hours last night looking around at different things. Thanks for the compliments though, I’m super happy with this! It’s definitely darker as I wanted it but not super crazy and creepy to where it’s not appealing to look at

I actually decided on an hour glass for the inner part of my arm with a feather incorporated into it somewhere. Love the meaning behind the hourglass and my tattoo artist even told me the significance behind the feather which will work perfect. I love this new sleeve of mine, I’m planning on going to my back eventually and combining the two sleeves together somewhere. I’ve got the addiction bad but it’s so worth it. I love every second I am in that chair
