Ryan wants to do something different on the right one, and based on lifestyle and activity level, two sore thighs is a bad idea. So here’s the one:

It wasn’t what I pictured either. And he wants totally something else for the other one. I told him he’s really been great and I trust him to do any color, whatever he likes, even if it’s not flowers, on the other side. Just as long as it “fits” and is the same size, roughly. I think he lives in his own world as an artist and kind of does his own thing, but I’m happy.
And, oh, your health is more important than us? Phooey. :p

Oh I don’t go to the gym for my health, I have a back injury from a car accident a few years ago and found that the workouts that my kinesiologist puts me through work better than the painkillers. And since I will have to sit for hours on Thursday …. I thought it prudent to go today.
Now my alarm is set for 4am so that I can get thru the border and catch my flight tomorrow. The things we are willing to do, to get a good tattoo. 😉

If I’m dropping my pants, I’m not wearing terrible underwear. I bought them back when I was dating someone I might sleep with. That never got lift off. Now I wear nice underwear for tattoo and doctor appointments.

It actually hurt a lot less. If the hip was a 7/10, this was a 2/10. Working over fleshier areas makes it a lot easier.
