Hey guys,
Well, I sit here still fighting the good fight since 2009. You guys have been through it since day 1 of my journey and 5 years later, this is my last shot.
After stepping up to the plate multiple times, I’ve struck out for 5 years. I was content on just living with this BAD tattoo.
BUT, I think I’ve finally found the only tattooist who can bury this thing for good and be my savior. Sure it’ll be tough, but I’m hooked up. My fiance’, at Christmas time, got me a gift certificate to the real deal.
I simply can’t live with this anymore. I’ve tried everything. I tried fixing it. I tried changing it and I tried fixing it again with failed results. I don’t blame the tattooist that tried fixing this coverup one bit. She was good and I still appreciate her, but I feel my new guy is the only one that has the skills great enough to eliminate my angst, to happiness.
It’s a Superman coverup, of a coverup piece. Some here will remember this.
This is the tattoo I want to eliminate for the last time (just Superman; middle contents)
And the face looks worse than that.
I want to cover that with this:
My new artist is from Pittsburgh, PA.
Dmitry Vision
Bloodlines Gallery and Tattoo studio
Expertise: Ultra-realism.
His portfolio is mind-numbingly incredible. On another level:
His entire portfolio is SICK and I think he can pull my situation off.
Thoughts?
Some more of his portfolio:
I remember…
Looking forward to seeing you get this sorted out, well played Sir
Yeah man. This is the one that haunts me and it sucks I can’t get past this. I should be on other pieces by now but I just can’t let it go. It’s going to be tough. There’s a load of color and it’s a wider area with no free canvas.
He’s going to have to basically draw ontop of it and use his insane highlighting and detailing skills to pack as much in as possible and create his own lines. I wouldn’t do this if I thought he couldn’t do it. I’ve seen him coverup a full sleeve tribal tattoo with THICK tribal and he killed it. It looked nearly impossible. Something I’ve never seen before actually accomplished.
This was the start of that coverup and what he’s capable of:
I’ll post updates. I’m busting to get this done. Kind of scared, but busting.
Fuck man, Do it!
Don’t look back!
Most here are familiar with Dmitry Vision I would think, though I don’t know how experienced he really is with coverups. Even Pangburn would have a tough time with that Superman piece. Good luck though man.
Dmitry’s work is awesome, have you talked to him yet?
I would think a few zaps with the laser would be extremely helpful with the end results.
Good luck
Dmitriys work is well known, he is awesome 🙂

He is booked for awhile but we are going to be setting up a consultation here soon. It’s just the matter of gathering things up, prepare and try to make his life easier. I’m not a picky person at all. I’m at the point where I want it done and would accept any professional direction where he thinks fit.
I’m eager to see what he has to say. I’ve sent him pictures awhile back to break the ice and he wants to see how dark it is in person. I would laser it but the piece is scarred so I’m going to go on in and do this thing on the spot once we get our date.
I’ve studied his portfolio for awhile and researched what artistic art-style is up his alley and I think an Alex Ross inspired piece could pull it off.
I like that Bizarro piece because I always wanted to turn it into Bizarro and there’s a lot of darker, deep purples and black in that piece.
Dmitry is already a legend in my eyes and for the quality of work, his hourly rate is highly reasonable. My fiance’ got me a $300 gift certiciate so that should cover about 2 hours of session and I’ll make up the rest.
I’ve put a ton of money already into this that I’m numb. If they were to tell me it would take a million to get this right, I’d do it. That’s how bad I want this out of my head haha. I’m held me back. I should have full sleeves on both my arms by now. Ohwell.

So you can’t get lasered if you’ve got scars? Aren’t they using the same lasers to actually work on scars?
