Hey guys!
I’ve had this tattoo since October 2011. I would love to expand on this, a background idea maybe? I don’t want the stereotypical swirls etc for women, something unisex and unique, which will of course go well with the dragon. At some point id like to add a pocket watch and script but i feel i need a background of something to fuse all these together.
May be a boring task but if i could get any ideas from any of you i’d be extremely grateful!!
Thanks :3
Are you looking for more straight black no shading? Are you unhappy with the way your tattoo looks now/ do you wish it looked different? (be honest)

I do like the idea of shading, i think it could emphasise my dragon.
I will admit sometimes i do wish it wasn’t so blocky, but it doesn’t annoy me enough to dislike my tattoo. I do like it but i honestly didn’t think ahead enough about adding to the tattoo. I always wanted a tattoo i could add to but looking at this, its hard to think where to begin! haha
If you have ideas for it to look different and/or how it is now i’d love to hear both 🙂 perhaps if the tattoo did look a bit different, it would help me develop it more? I have no clue in all honesty xD
Maybe use the tattoo that you have now as the shadow of a new dragon? Do you have a different pic that shows more on how this fits on your body(a farther away shot)?

This is a good idea. I suggest a dragon in full color, with the existing black dragon as it’s shadow.
Go see a professional tattoo artist that has been in the industry for a while. They’ve seen a thousand old tribals that people want to cover up, change or expand on.
It’s a fairly common problem by now, but a lot of the artists that have been around for a while have done quite a few of them, and would be able to help you out with some ideas etc 🙂

YOU HAVE A TRIBAL DRAGON!
