I’d call that a successful cover up. Even better, it doesn’t LOOK like a cover up. Nice job.
It looks great. How is it going to look when the white fades?
There’s actually not a lot of white over the old tattoo. Mostly chalky blues like dusty blue and periwinkle. I have had incredible success with these colors in regards to cover-ups. I’ll try to get a healed photo for you. My client is coming back this week for more.
you’re getting better and better david, fancy moving to the uk and taking on an apprentice of your own? lol
looks great ! nice looking tattoo as well as good cover up.

I’m going to have to get a whole lot better before I ever teach anyone. I would like to go back to the UK though. I was there a few years ago. I had a blast. I’d love to travel and tattoo over there.
i think it’s really good! congrats! I’ve been following you here on this forum as well and amazed at how much you’ve progressed… hope to get tattooed by you in the future (and maybe get a discount lol?)
in the spirit of constructive criticism though, the one small problem I have is the teeth/fangs… I think the top fang/teeth looks like it’s more inward that the 2 lower ones? I don’t know how you fix the perspective but that bothers me a bit. again, nothing major – still love it overall

Well when you’re ready feel free to be my yoda lol
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I can go back into it again. He’s actually got an appointment for today.
As for getting a tattoo by me, I’ll be at the Cleveland Tattoo Covention in January, the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention in February, the Chicago Tattoo Convention in March, The Rochester Tattoo Expo in April, and guest spots in Indiana, Chicago, and Detroit over the summer. We’ll see if I can find some more places that will have me for a day or two here and there.
