My name’s mike, and i live in dallas, tx. I’m 20 and have been looking for THE tattoo for me. I’m not looking to spend a whole lot of money, so that means keeping them fairly simple. There are a few questions on my mind that i would like to ask and if anybody reads this and replies, then thanks for your time.

1. How will i find a good tattoo artist? Should i go by references? How should i gauge someone who isn’t going to screw it up?

2. I’m white, but i’m fairly tanned. I was wondering if you guys think that white ink would show up decently on my skin.
