I have played with the idea of getting a tattoo for some time, but I think this time its right (and I can legally go by myself!) [my 18th bday was Monday]
But that’s not why I am doing it.
I’ve survived a lot in my (short) lifetime. And I’m proud of the new direction I’m going.

    About me?
I love horses and animals. I love to laugh out loud.
I love to help people. I love to listen.
((And I’m sounding oddly positive today))

    My first tattoo.. ideas anyways..
Lotus flower. Has a lot of symbolism that I relate to.
I would like it either on the top of my hand, near my space between my thumb and pointer finger. Or on my forearm.

And after that, we’ll see what the future brings.

Well also consider what proffession you want to be in, because you won’t get a white collar job with tattoo’s that are visible. ๐Ÿ™‚

My career plans are working with animals (I’m working my way up as a horse trainer right now) So the visablity factor isnt a big deal for me.
I also considered doing it on the inside of my arm, near the crook of my elbow, but I hear that would hurt a lot more.

Happy birthday and welcome to the forum! Tattoos hurt no matter where they are placed! Don’t get a tattoo somewhere because you heard it didn’t “hurt” as much. Get it somewhere that would truly be beautiful and that you’d love forever.

You’re also still young. Getting ink done on your hands is kind of Taboo. And they wear out a lot easier meaning you’ll have to get it touched up much more frequently.

I’ve changed my major and career path about seven times. Trust me, don’t do anything to limit yourself and your future.

Again welcome to the forum and I hope you get what you were looking for by joining this forum. ๐Ÿ™‚
