hello everyone my names sarah and I have 11 tattoos all small ones!!

I need some major help from everyone! I recently had some additional work done to a tattoo to make it a bit prettier, but it all went horribly wrong!!! Instead of drawing it out I thought it was easily explained! the tattooist seemed to fully understand what I wanted and went ahead. but he didn’t!!!!!!!! now it looks so horrible I hate it, its on the top of my arm as well so very difficult to hide.

What I am after is some recommendations of a fantastic tattooist who can do something with it. I don’t care how far I have to travel or the cost. I need to get it sorted. I have no idea what to do with it!!!

I will get a picture taken of it and email it if anyone thinks they can help.

Off now to the sunbed to get very tanned, I know its not good for tattoos but at least the one on my arm will be much less obvious!!!

    Hi Sarah

As Sweepy has said we would really need to see the tattoo before we can advise on the best course of action.

If it is a small one it should be reasonably easy to rectify.

    Take Care

hi again! The reason I haven’t posted the pic of tattoo is for two reasons firstly I hate it so much and secondly I like the person who did it. Not the first tattoo they have done for me and I am very happy with the others. I have a pic which I can email, already sent to sweepy *thanks for the quick reply* if anyone else thinks they can help I would appreciate your suggestions!!!

hey outlaw…. when I get anything done it will be by a respected, experienced, registered and highly recommended tattooist!!! next time this tattoo is touched will be the 4th and last time! I have created an album and put it in however I made it private and maybe I shouldn’t have, not sure who will be able to access it? and I can’t see how to change the album type now!
thanks for your reply, hope you can look at pic and help 🙂

jesus thats a mess, and on another note, you do know that sunbeds will most probably cause you skin cancer when you get older? BAD for you

If you tan it, your skin will be less likely to heal properly and accept new ink. You should take care of it and get your skin ready for a cover up. Do you like dragons? You could do a nice coverup, starting at the top with the head of the dragon and working your way down your arm. Just a thought 😉

sarah when you set your album to private then only people in your contacts (friends) list can see it, well us mods an as well…
if you go into your user control panel, go down to your images and albums, then select your album….. there is a tag that says “edit album”
click it, then at the buttom underneath the image it says private or public, just click public and everyone ca view your album, just remember to save changes 😉

as for your piece of work..
if travel is no problem, then why not wait until september, go to the london tattoo convention….. all the tp uk artists will work it. you can check out their work as its going into the skin, see their portfolio, even ask advice from them regarding your piece…… you wil be able to find the right artist there i would imagine 😉

but i agree about keeping off te sunbed, and do you use any sun block on the pieces of ink that you like ??
    if not then you should!!

hey thanks for your help so far. I might wait til sept even tho I am desperate to get something done. as for the sunbed idea it was purely because I thought it might make it less obvious which of course it won’t!!!! I don’t use them and I do use sun block when Im out in the sun!!! I think its best to leave it til sept because nobody has come up with any good cover up ideas which won’t make it huge. I’m considering the lazer also, does anyone have any recommendations???? thanks

yes, you could consider laser to lighten it up, then find a fab tattooist who can do somet hing better. i can’t really tell what this is supposed to be anyway.

Glad we could help. I would be real careful with the laser, if you are going to get a tattoo there, as the laser will make the skin very fragile as it has already been tattooed. If you are just looking at the option of laser removal instead of a coverup then it is just a matter of choice. Maybe you ahould just give it time to heal, about 6 weeks, before making a decision.
