totally new over here.. i love tattoo and i get my first tattoo 3 days ago..:)
i knew the tattoo artist from a friend of mine.. and they said he is good.. so after knowing him for a week and seen how he tattoo my bf, i was ready to be tattoo by him and which i did..
i picked a cub as my first tattoo.. and i chose to do it on the left side of my shoulder..
i wanted a black and white tattoo since it was a snow tiger cub.. but he said it will be ok to put some blue shading on it like the one in the original pictures which i taught should be a good. it was so painful and i was under his needle for 5 hours before i give up and he said its ok,u can come back once the wounds heal and we can continue with the lower part of it..
now after 3 day,the flaky skins come out but so do the color.. now my tattoo look like 80 years old art.. its faded.. i dont want to regret cuz i know this what i want since im a lil girl but this faded art made me frustrated.. can someone tell why this thing happen and how to bring back the color?? someone??

ok, first off, dont freak out!

second, pictures will help us tell you if you SHOULD be freaking out

the peeling is normal, as is some color looking faded. the skin that comes off will be the color of your tattoo. it will look faded for a few days, maybe weeks. it takes a little bit for some of the pigments to “surface” so to speak. every piece i have ever had looks faded for a couple weeks, but then brightens back up. but again, without pics we cant really tell ya if its just that or something else.

if its REALLY faded, then the artist could have used inferior inks and/or not gone deep enough. also, soaking it (like in a bathtub or pool, showers are ok) can cause it to fade, and so can picking the scabs off. which, if any of these are the case, then the artist can fix it for you, no worries.

    pics please?

was he working from a pro studio or from a kitchen??
reason being….. if it is the case of the ink has dropped out then it could be caused by inexperience

now that most of the flaky skin came out, the cub face is almost gone as well..

is there anyway to take it off?? or re-fix tis tatt??

the tattoo artist is known for his good job.. and he said he been doing this for 14 years..
i really feel so wrong now.. hmmm..

well if he’s been doin it for 14 years like he says…. i doubt its inexperience…. some people’s skin dont take ink very well… could be that… and once, again, if he’s been doin it 14 years, he should know not to use crummy inks… but it could be that…

all tattoos can be touched up or redone if necessary. but…. pics would be nice so we can see whats going on… can you not even load them into your album?

I agree with Apostle..not everyones skin adapts well to ink…and it always looks super bright when it first gets done but then the color will fade.. .I’m gonna have to echo Apostle here you are gonna have to get pics before people can tell you if you should be freaking out… 🙂

you didnt answer weather you have had this done in a studio ? im guessing that it was in your house or the guys house .
It can be fixed but i think you need to go to a real tattoo studio so you dont regret your tattoo .

    Hi

The best thing to do is wait a minimum of 4 weeks – 6 if you can wait that long.

If the tattoo has still got a faded look – then the ink has fallen out and will need to be reworked by a professional artist.

If you could email the picture I would be able to betetr advise.

I have sent you a PM

    Take Care
    Matthew
