Hello everyone. I just got my first tattoo a few days ago and wanted to show it off. I put a couple pictures of it in an album. Hopefully I did it right. Note that it’s actually circular, just one of the pictures was taken at a funny angle, so it looks more like an oval.

People sure are right about tattoos being addictive. I already am having thoughts about how to turn it into part of a half-sleeve idea!

Thanks! In case anyone didn’t know, it’s the Rebel Symbol from Star Wars. I got it for a couple reasons. One, my earliest memories involve Star Wars, and I loved it for literally as long as I can remember. Second, a friend that I met through a common interest of Star Wars also helped me get through some major depression I had for two years. And just a lot of good memories tied to the movies all around. Those things combined together were the reason for the tattoo. Plus, I think it looks awesome!

It was done by Eric (Lynn I think) at Liberty Tattoo in Libertyville, IL.

As for the second piece, I didn’t really have anything specific, other than already mentioned. I just know that I loved getting the first one. I guess I could start a thread for ideas.

Also, you say it’s unusual for a first piece. Out of curiosity, what is a more “usual” first tattoo? What makes this one unusual?

Welcome to the forum. I’m a Star Wars Fan too. Saw all the movies, read all the books, when I was a kid, I had all the toys.
