Hey everyone.
My names Drew and I’m from Scotland, I’m 20 years old and I’m getting my 1st tattoo next week. The first time I saw it was when I was 17 and I briefly considered getting it in future. So a couple months ago I finally got it booked and I’ve been reading all about tattoos since and that’s what brought me here. 🙂

It’s the tribal kind of looking one sprawled across his torso (not the face and neck).
A lot of people think I’m mad getting a tattoo that size seeing as it’ll be my first one, but I don’t want a smaller tattoo for the sake of getting used to the pain. I imagine it’s gonna hurt but I don’t have a choice but to deal with it 🙂
This is the only tattoo I plan to get, but I’ve heard they are addictive. Is that true?
And that tattoo is fugly.. sorry. You’ll regret it in 5-10 years.
Agree on both accounts. get it if you want to but as you gain appreciation of ink you’ll regret getting something so basic and you won’t be able to do much about it- cover up won’t be an option and lasering that off would take a lot of time, money and pain.
I would really think about this before you do it.
Hey ArniVidar, if you think it’s ugly that’s cool, you don’t need to apologise 🙂 As much as I don’t like to say so, about 80% of the people I’ve showed the tattoo too don’t like it either.
Edit: Thanks for your input Gsouder, but yeah I’m sure it’s what I want. I’ve literally looked at 100’s of tattoos, lots of different styles, sizes, colours, amount of detail etc. But this one appeals to me most.
