Hello from London way it’s jolly good to be here. Have yet to look round but I’m sure it’ll have lots of stuff for me to look at. Have a few tattoos, some say they are “major” others just laugh 😉 anyway glad to be here, pass me a beer!
of course it is………..americas oldest brewery,,,,,,,,,,when i was growing up near pottsville, it was local only and they didn’t have any beer that was marketable.
the company has stayed in the family since it was founded, they even made icecream during prohibition to stay alive (they also brewed beer when nobody was looking  )
when old dick died 20 or so years ago, young dick took over the bizness and made some new styles of beer and started marketing it outside of the area…young ick only has 4 daughters and no sons, so when he passes it will be the first time that a guy did not take over the company……i know that at least 3 of the daughters work there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
the lager is widest spread and iis now on tap in most bars in maryland……….

Will pst pics up soon as I can.
I’ve tried the “original” Yuengling but not the Black & Tan. May just have to.
if you like dark beer, their porter rocks,.,,,,,,,,but it may not be available everywhere,,,,,,,and there chesterfield ale is killer,,,,,,,,,,
