My name is Nick and I work at a shop in the Boston area. I have been tattooing less than a year. Here are a few of my most recent pieces.
This is a self done leg piece I have been working on since i first started tattooing. It is very random and conceptually doesnt make sense. It’s not supposed to. Its my personal documentation of my learning of all styles.
thanks man. much appreciated. the Koi is the most recent addition obviously. cant wait to color it with this epic set of intenze inks
Welcome to the groups.
Just remember that unlicensed tattoo discussion is forbidden here, so you will not get any tattooing-specific tips and tricks from the pro’s 🙂
Althoug the pics are pretty small, I must say that your work looks better than some of the work I’ve seen in here done by ‘professionals’. Keep practicing.
much appreciated. and dont worry, i got a mentor and 3 other award winning artists in my shop to learn from. i actually didnt realize how small they were. here are some more upclose photos of my leg.
i would let you tattoo me license or no license if you doing stuff like that on yourself…
Well done dude will be a amazing well known artist in the future for sure!
awesome to hear man. i sure hope. luckily i am licensed to tattoo in the shop even though im an apprentice im treated almost like a fully functional artist. i take walk ins if my mentor approves of the piece and i can book any custom piece if its my own clients. unfortunetely ive been having a hard time building clientele in a new place(just moved here). but i need to be patient
Yeah man i can’t believe your a apprentice and doing work like that on yourself haha!! really loving the piece on the leg!
Spent a lot of time drawing and studying my man. Come out to Boston. Ill do some sick work for you haha
to be honest im not even sure where bosten is haha! im at merseyside/st.helens and yeah would be cool im looking for a neck piece next! 😛
Just curious, what shop are you at and who’s your mentor? I’m in CT, I’m a little familiar with Redemption Tattoo (Cambridge) but that’s about all I know in your area.
Welcome Great looking work. Glad to see you doing it the right way.
I swear you must be retarded
Awesome stuff. I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve been an apprentice since October of last year. I’ve done six tattoos so far. The first was on my leg too. Lots of hard work but incredibly fun. Good luck with your apprenticeship. I’d like to see some of your artwork.
It’s in he’s album.
I saw his album. I guess what I meant to say was I’d like to see some of his artwork on paper, sketches, paintings, stuff like that. If he can tattoo like that his drawings and paintings should be pretty awesome. I’d like to see them. I like seeing what tattoo artists do in other mediums.
