Oh, I’m not denying that I spent countless hours headbanging to GnR in my youth, but like too many great bands, the lead singer became a useless asshole, the whole band went totally commercial, and instead of selling their souls for rock and roll, they sold their souls for mansions and luxury cars. Hence the hate. For them and every other band that went the same route. *cough, cough, Metallica, cough cough.*

The whole point of starting a band (or indeed, the whole point of entering any profession) is to make money. I find the whole idea of bands/singers/musicians being ‘sellouts’ to be ridiculous.
