    Hi guys,

    I am Charlie, new to forum. I love tattoos when i see them. And i really want one but the problem is that i am terrified of needles and even my parents are against it. I have come here hoping i get inspired by seeing all the wonderful tattoos 🙂

    Hi Charlie. Welcome to the forum!

    I’m not terrified of needles – I am full blown phobic about them. I have to have all my dental work done under sedation because I cannot hold still for a needle. I know it doesn’t make sense, but to me getting a tattoo is getting scratched but getting a ‘needle’ is getting a hole poked in me. My brain sees them differently. And I’m glad it does, because I do love my tattoos! My mom doesn’t, but I’m nearly 50 and she’s getting used to them. Slowly.
