I got my first tattoo yesterday. I’ve been a vegan for a while now and I wanted something that would show my commitment, so after a lot of research about places and artists in Dublin, I finally found a place that uses vegan inks and that could recommend good vegan aftercare cream.
All the contact that I had with tattoos until yesterday was through my youngest brother, who has two big ones on his ribs and upper arm, but I have to say that the experience was really good and although the pain was worse than I thought (during the shading, mainly), it wasn’t unbearable.
I love the final result and I am being very careful with the aftercare, I hope everything goes well. As I said in another post, I had a “feck, what have I done” moment this morning, but it lasted for about 30 seconds :D. I am actually already thinking of my other arm now…
Anyway, I am delighted to be here:)

The one of the top? Really? I thought the one at the bottom left looked funny, but then I searched for real photos online and it looks like a real baby 🙂 Thanks for the comment!
As for the banner, no clue, I told the artist I wanted the word Vegan on it and that’s what he came up with. I didn’t think much of it, really.

To be honest, I am very pleased:) I had yet another moment of panic when I started reading through some of the threads here where some people had had awful tattoos done, but I really think mine is well done, so no complaints there.
