Hello, I’ve signed up here to get involved in the tattoo community, but also to get some help.

I’m Chris and live in the uk, and will be going to New York with my fiancé next year, as it’s such a big trip I’m wanting to commemorate this trip with a new tattoo whilst I’m there. We’ll be staying in Long Island and usually I’d ask around people I know in the area for advice but I don’t know anyone! I’ve been in touch with one parlour but alarm bells are ringing a bit (I’m not naming them in case I’m wrong, don’t want to give someone an unwarranted bad name), but can anyone recommend a decent artist? Preferably one I can sound out via email first.
