Hi I”m from the UK and I have two tattoos. One on the ankle and one on my left shoulder.
The left shoulder one looks almost like this:

It’s a band logo and I’m very fond of it.
Basically I’m hoping to get a film noir black and white half sleeve done on that arm… black and white image(s) of 1940s era actress smoking, with hollywood palm trees and vintage cars in the background etc.
I’m just wondering how it’s possible to merge that film noir half sleeve with the band logo without it looking so out of place? I’m trying to think of ways to do it.
I’m also thinking of getting my dog tattooed on my left pec at a later date. I know the artist will make it look fantastic…but my biggest worry is that will it look like a clash?
I just want it them all to slightly merge into each other and look consistent. I’m not the kind of person to get a tattoo on the impulse…I’ve thought very hard about them and they all offer meaning to me.
One option is a trash polka style on my left pec to join up with the left arm.
I’m very open to anyone’s advice.
*EDIT* before anyone says “why don’t you get it on the right arm?” I can’t. I would like my right arm to be kept blank. With me being right handed and a bit OCD, I like to keep it untouched.
Many Thanks.

yes ! that will work great ! do it !
I am going to do it. But I need to know how to make it look consistent. The last thing I want is a very expensive tattoo that looks out of place.
Does anyone know how to make them all look consistent?
Thanks
Tattoo artists put their work next to other stuff all the time, so they know how to make different styles and images work together. Since you are going in knowing that it is going to be a half sleeve then the artist will be able to make it all flow and work with the existing piece.
Love your sleeve idea BTW. Share pics when it is done, please!

Hi thank you.
Please see image. This is a very rough plan crudely drawn up on photoshop. Only the circle tattoo exists.
Is there a way to make it look more unified and have a general theme?
Does anyone have any suggestions or examples?
I quite like the style of this:
