Yeah, it’s also been called “Lemonade Diet”.
You mix organic grade B maple syrup (stuff is expensive) with water, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. I tried it for a week. It’s disgusting. And although the pepper, lemon and water is designed to clean out your intestines and colon, you can do so just as easily by drinking straight lemon juice or lemonade. The syrup and cayenne pepper is what makes it gross and it doesnt help control your appetite at all. It also does not add any nutritional value.
Think of it this way : You would do just as well drinking nothing but water. The mixture is simply a distraction, not a miracle drink. Of course, no mater what you add to the water, if that’s all you’re drinking and you’re starving yourself, you’re gonna lose weight.
If you’re gonna detox or whatever, just do straight lemons and water. It’s considerably cheaper and will do just as well without having to drink some gross mixture.
