Exactly 1 week ago on Monday, I got a new tattoo on my right arm on the top. The healing process has went fine until now. All the major scabs have come off today in the shower, but I noticed a part in the bottom left where it didn’t come off. I looked at it closer and saw the following:

I can see it goes into my skin and comes back up again, so I’m thinking it’s an open wound. How do I go about treating this? My father told me to pick up a medicine called Bepanthol at the pharmacy (it’s like a baby cream), but when I googled it suggested me not to use it for tattoo aftercare.

 

 

Any tips are welcome, I really don’t want my tattoo to end up in a mess.
