A month ago I got a part grey wash part colour tattoo on my upper arm. I followed the aftercare I was given to a T like always. Around week 2.5 ish it started acting up and getting extremely warm when covered(shirt, blanket, etc.)  and I also noticed a few red splotches in the grey wash area. I went back to the artist and he said it’s most likely just irritated from the lotion and I can stop using it since it is out of the peely stage, and I did. For a few days after it did feel a little better, then started back up and has been acting the same way since. It kind of feels like icy hot when this happens. It’s only the grey wash area that is giving me trouble which is weird. None of my other tattoos have acted like this. This is also my first bigger more intricate tattoo as well, so I didn’t know if maybe that has something to do with that and my body is just taking longer to adjust to the ink?  Has anyone ever experienced something like this before?
