    what do i do when my tattoo i just got about a week ago will not stop itching? YES I KNOW DO NOT SCRATCH OR TOUCH IT!!! i mean i put lotion on it but it only helps for a little while i cannot stand it!!!!!!!!

    My most recent one is itching like MAD as I type!! Haha, I rub on it, or lightly slap it. Though it seems like it’s never enough… It just wants to be scratched!! Haha, I can’t make my tattoo happy… I just try to deal with the itch.

    I know how you feel, you need to just keep it moisturized with the lotion and if it itches, lightly slap/tap it. Especially if it’s in color it will itch a lot, but if it starts turning red and inflamed, you need to go back to the artist.

    For now just try and tough it out, it will itch for the first couple weeks.

    Vaseline and STOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP SCRATING IT Lol, or use some itching powder/lotion!!! perfumed lotion is probley making it worst!!!

    a tattoo cuts into the skin so its just the skin healing, just wait a few more days and it should settle down. Just keep doing what you are doing.
    You might be allergic to the lotion too.
