    Here is my tattoo…

It’s in memory of my son.

Anyway, I was wonder when I will be able to shave over my tattoo? And to avoid getting oinment on my jeans…should I wear plastic wrap over my tattoo or not put ointment on it when I go out? I have been applying the ointment as often as I can and I am in school from 8-1 starting next week and I don’t want to go to long without having it applied.
    Thanks in advance.
Yes, I love the footprints…they are Dylan’s footprints and I am very pleased with the way they turned out.

i wouldn’t suggest shaving over your tattoo until it’s FULLY HEALED, so at least two weeks. that’s not to say you can’t shave around it, just be careful.

As far as the ointment goes, you don’t want to wrap your tattoo in saran wrap at all ever after you take it off the first time. Your tattoo needs to breathe. keep using the ointment for the next few days, then when you start going to school you can probably switch to curel lotion and apply that instead. It soaks into the skin easier than the ointment.

Good luck and great tattoo! I’m sorry for your loss but i hope your tattoo has helped you with your closure.
