    had a foot tattoo dun yesterday, went fine looks gd etc, doesnt reali hurt now but skin feels tight. was instructed to only wash it with antibacterial soap and apply nothing else to it….however everywhere else ive read that i shud moisturise it.
    basically i hav no idea whether to moisturise it or not now :S please help!

    right now you should be putting anibacterial ointment on it to prevent infection and keep it moist after a few days use curel just plain curel.. no scent or anything

    NO OINTMENT! NONE NO NO NO NO NEOSPORIN, NO POLYSPORIN, NONE NO!

    Use LUBERBERM, or any lotion with NO fragrance, no Dye (both of these will irritate the tattoo), NO lanolin (it will draw the color out!).
    NO baby lotion (lanolin)
    NO Fruity lotions (scent and dye)
    NO sexy lotions
    NO silicones (yes they are common in many lotions look for word in the ingredients that end in -cone)
    NO Petroleum products (vasiline and the like)

    Good luck.
    oh and NO OINTMENT (petroleum)
    NO soaking
    NO scented soaps (with the exception of DR. bonners as the scents are made with nautral oils)
    Keep it moist with lotion!
