I just got a tattoo two days ago. It was my first. But now, although, I keep it moist, it is all cracked and scabbed. You can’t even see the purple right now. I keep Lubriderm on it and let it air out. But my wrist is still kinda sore. Is this normal?

Like most of the other responces, I say it is normal. But as far as the Lubriderm, my tattoo artist advises his clients to use A&D. You can find it on the baby products isle in most grocery stores. He also advised againt any thing like neosporin.

did you use bacitracin? Or something to avoid infection and help it heal faster? That may help.

    I have 3 tats.
    and the soreness is normal
but the cracks and scabs I am not so sure about
Consult your tat artist and let him know
    as soon as possible!

Just don’t peel the scab and it should be fine.

Yes, all tattoos do this. Don’t pick the scab though or put too much lotion on it.
