    I’ve heard that professional artists have no problem touching up their own ink, for free. Is this true?
    What if it’s due to premature flaking off of a scab? (not the artist’s fault)
    Also, if the artist offers to touch up for free of charge, is it still polite to pay them (or tip)? If so, how much? $5? (for small touch up)

    i does really depend on what the tattoo is to a certaine xtent.

    if you got a small cheap tat and haggled on price then maybe they would charge you but most touch up work as long as it is leess than 10 – 25 mins of work should be free.

    you can tip if you like but it is not expected in my experience
