    I got a tattoo on wednesday and today is sinday how long should i put the a&d ointment on it for?

    one day..if at all..I don’t put A&D on any of my tattoos anymore. Just a bit of lotion.

    put it on till it scabs then put lotion w/o water on it.

    you are suppose to do it for a a couple of days, at least four days. thats what all tattoo artists say.

    you are supposed to put it on it 7- 14 days.. I have 3 tattoos one of them goes across my back from hip to hip .. I use triple antibiotic .. equate kind not any with petrolium jelly or it will fade… using the equate stuff mine healed in 7 days
