Got a new tattoo a little over 4 days ago. It covers my upper arm and shoulder. I’ve kept it lubricated properly and it just started the scabbing phase. Here’s my dilemma. As I was getting ready for work this morning, I put on a shirt and decided to change it. As I took off the shirt, I noticed it was bringing up scabs from the tattoo. Am I screwed? I know I should wear baggy clothing but my shirts for work are limited.

bepanthen is the best thing for a tattoo, cover the tatoo liberally with bepanthen then cover with a non stick gauze. No I dont think your screwed, the bepanthen will put back in the moisture plus help it to heal.

NO your not screwed but try not to let your shirt stick to it when your at work jsut pull your shirt up every once in a while so it doesnt stick as bad. I had the same problem. hope that helps

I know what you mean, theres nothing you can really do about it you need to let it heel it should hurt the tattoo whatever your wearing just make sure when you come home take the shirt off and clean it as normal. x
