hi guys 2 months ago got a tat on the inside of my forarm. there is a bit of hair over some of it its only light it still looks ok but i was wonering if it was ok to shave over it? its completely healed up and i put vasaline intensive care on it mornig and night to keep it looking new but i just think without the hair it would really show it up alot more. does anyone else do this.
i also live in australia. how many of u plaster yr tattoos with suncream? and is there any sort that i should should or shouldnt use. i dont wanna mess my tat up thats all.

Giday bud. Protat aftercare products are sold in alot of studios in Oz. They do a sunscreen cream Which is a SPF30+ rating. If the tattoo is mostly on the inside of your arm, most of it probably wont be exposed directly in the sunlight? Try the protat mate. Will sort you out. 🙂

    hi xpress. thanks for replying.
are u in australia too. i live in nsw mid north coast. i was just going to use normal 30+ sunscreen is there any diff between the stuff u mentioned and normal sunscreen? yes the tat is mostally ok but comes a bit around the side of my arm so that part cops the sun. and also wen im driving the sun gets rite on it. its only that its started to warm up here and ive had my jumper off that ive noticed lol. is there any probs with shaving it do u know? and can i over moisterize it or anything? just really wanna take care of it
    thanks again mate 😀

Im in New Zealand bud. If your tatt is fully healed its totally kool to start shaving it. Protat has been designed for people with fresh tattoos etc. Its good stuff. Im not a sun screen expert LOL but any good reputable suncream will do the job.;)

about the sunscreens, I posted a list of chemicals in a thread above this one, but many sunscreens have many harmfull chemicals that will goad the immune system into acting (even upon itself) if they get past the skin. It is important to read the labels and the chemicals, just cause they sell it in the stores doesnt mean the chemicals in it are harmless.

90% of all products that pass animal testing fail when they are human tested, of that 10% that pass the human trials stage, 73% of those products are recalled, and another 16% are recalled within 5 years of their release.
